Out In The Vineyard, the premier experiential event company offering exclusive luxury itineraries and events in wine country for the discriminating gay traveler and their friends, announces the return of the Big Gay Train this spring. On March 16th, the Napa Valley Wine Train dons fabulous digs for this once-a-year event of wine and food. Local gay winemakers pair their wines with the culinary masterpieces created by Executive Chef Kelly MacDonald.
In its third year, the evening promises an exotic culinary adventure like on other on the rails in Napa Valley, aboard the legendary Wine Train. The Napa Valley Wine Train is Napa’s most distinctive restaurant where guests enjoy gourmet dining, wine tasting, exclusive winery tours, and special wine events all aboard beautifully restored antique rail cars. The train sends takes its riders on a trip into the luxurious American past to experience unparalleled tastes and wines.
As the train departs, guests will enjoy a four-course menu paired with wines from
LGBT Winemakers. Scheduled winemakers include some from around “Our Wine Country!”, such as Margaret Davenport of Windsor Oaks Winery, Tim Porter from Porter Family Winery, Scott Anderson of J Vineyards, and Brad Beard with Mercury Wines. Guest winemakers will be on board the Winemaker Lounge Car to meet and greet guests throughout their adventure.
